1.Grade Pay:
It is learnt that the file related to Upgradation of Grade Pay of IP/ASP/PS group B has been returned by Ministry of Finance with remarks that the post of IP is not comparable with the posts of Assistants in CSS and analogous posts in CBDT/CBEC.
CHQ is requesting the Dept. to resubmit the file to MOF with more information/proper justification.
2.Transfer of Women IPs working out of their home Circles.
Dept. has issued instructions to consider the transfer applications of lady IPs (both surplus qualified and direct recruits) under Rule 38 without any time limit. Copy of the letter dated 05.02.2010 is attached.

It is a shocking news that IP posts cannot b equated with Assistants of CSS etc. On which terma they made the comparison ,what are the points against us raised by MOF are not now available.However we are not at all lower stage w.r.t the workload, talent, management etc., and thus entitled to higher GP. We have to collect sufficient parameters to see on which terms others were granted higher GP and which are our deficiencies to convince the MOF and if not succeeded ,must challenge in court itself
